The Deadly Sin of Slothby ~JeiWo

This was for a school assignment in which we were to illustrate one of the seven deadly sins. The teacher made clear that we were supposed to illustrate something that we WANT to draw, rather than something that would be cliche and expected. So I decided to draw this.

I admit I was partially inspired by the popular Seven Sins series by blackeri which I'm sure most people have seen. Mostly just to choose a beautiful woman as a subject. For this picture, I decided to focus on the apathetic and melancholic aspect of sloth (rather than just mere laziness). She's supposed to appear that she's been slothful for so long that she's turning into a statue and is crumbling. Her hair is unkempt and long, and she doesn't notice the birds all around her (apathy). What do you think?

Sloth is so very hard to visualize for me (other than lying on the ground), so your pic was a refreshing interpretation. Thank you!
